Montague Intermediate School Study Consultation
In accordance with Public Schools Branch Policy GP 14, School Review, an initial review of all schools in the Montague Family of Schools was undertaken for the purpose of reviewing current and projected enrolments as well as utilization of existing spaces within each school. Preliminary findings indicated all schools within the Montague Family are experiencing growth and should maintain status quo with continued monitoring with the exception of Montague Intermediate, with a recommendation that “a more in-depth study of the Montague Intermediate School be done and options for change be explored.”

The PSB Board of Trustees are seeking feedback on the proposed recommendations or any other considerations you wish to share pertaining short-term and long-term solutions to program and capacity issues.
The PSB Board of Trustees will accept feedback until November 18, 2026.
